I don't even know many movies, but still hard to choose… and then there's the problem of practicing to play them satisfactorily, which would take me some time. You've set quite a high standard with your viola, @AndrewH.
Just to clarify : anything's fine, even from some totally-unknown-movie, and even if originally there are lyrics on it ?
In any case good job everyone, nice topic

Last of the Mohicans!
Love it.
This Party's getting off to a good start!
Believe it or not, this was one of the 1st tunes I set out to tackle (Jenny O'Connor, aka The Hot Violinist), my version is more like a combination of Fiddlerman's 2 violin parts. Fell in love with the old silent movie, but the modern movie's music is just... mesmerizing.

Hi Mouse! I really liked your Edelweiss on cello, but I'm not sure anyone can top this version. It's the one I asked Fiddlerman to play for the demo of my new Fiddlerman Master when I bought it. The competition with him is pretty tough!
Enjoy!

Hey, Jaws scarred me for life - that movie was the reason I only worked on light-lift helicopters. If I'd been an AF crew chief (flight engineer for Army) on a big one I'd have to fly search and rescue over the oceans, with much training in the water... rotor blade noise attracts sharks... shark repellent is useless!
Speaking of movies that have scarred me for life, Alien scared me so bad I couldn't sleep for days.
No suspense/terror movies have come close to those two, since - so I miss out on the fun of being scared, now.
Suspense sounds best on the cello!
All those wonderful movies I love that are full of suspense (e.g., Alfred Hitchcock!) - can't believe the one I'm working on to play isn't one of them.

Greg played from the movie, "Last of the Mohicans".

Thank you all so much for joining my party! 👍🏻😊🥰 This is really great, I’m so glad you liked this idea!
@Mouse Your Edelweiss was lovely! ❤️ I like The sound of music too, I watched it with my daughter couple of weeks ago.
@Sasha That was absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much! 😄
@ABitRusty Great! This was a nice tune and new movie to me, had to google it. 😊
@wtw Yes, you can choose any movie! I like to google those I don't know. 👍🏻
I think I will post new videos too, I have couple of tunes in my mind that I would like to play anyway. 🤔

Off topic to the movie theme, but I want to join discussion about flying and oceans! I have visited the USA once, it was the longest flight I've ever done. I have never been afraid to fly, but 8 hours at 11 kilometers above the ocean was still a bit of an exciting experience... I would still love to do it again some day!
One of my dreams is to travel to Miami Beach and see the clear blue water. I have never seen anything like it except in the pictures. I want to wade in warm water, unless there are sharks!
Hey, Fiddlershop is somewhere in Florida, right? Then I could go to say hello to Fiddlerman! And because I couldn’t take my cello with me, maybe I could try a few cellos there! What an awesome idea! 😄😄

Sorry, for derailing your thread! 😁
I've never flown that far, but Kevin's been deployed to Norway, Japan, Singapore and the Middle East. His flights were not comfortable - not commercial airlines.
Yes, there are sharks all around Florida, but I always thought more so on the Gulf of Mexico side (West). Beaches are closed when they're seen.
Fiddlershop is a little further up the Atlantic Coast - in Pompano Beach, half way between Miami and West Palm Beach.
Visiting there would be a wonderful vacation!
Now, who's next to join the Party?
