Ok, I said I'd participate, so here goes : ...
doesn't sound as good as it could, but I'm growing tired of playing it.
Here's the original, it's from The Chorus / Les choristes : Vois sur ton chemin
(a version with lyrics here)
and here's the accompaniment I used.

This is beautiful on your Viola!
I'm impressed that you played 2 parts, also!
So glad you joined the Party. 🤗
Looks like a wonderful film, hate to admit I haven't seen this yet, but I want to watch it now. Thank you for bringing it to my attention!
Here's the trailer for anyone else unfamiliar with this movie.
MORE VIOLAS!

@ABitRusty -
This one's for you!
My version of "The Gael", from the film Last of the Mohicans.
Thought if I got my phone set up so I didn't need Kevin to help me, I'd be more relaxed and able to get a better recording.
Turns out, I just kept getting worse - couldn't get a clean run, back to some bad habits with my thumb & new E string didn't help, so I was all over the place there. (lol)
Trying Youtube instead of One Drive & decided it wasn't worth putting off to next week - you get the gist.
Sorry for all the alien noises, @Ilona ...just pretend I got drunk at the Party!

For my 2nd movie theme...
How about a game of Charades for this party?
Most movie scores are a bit beyond me right now,
so this one's my own homemade mix.
(on all 5 strings!)
- recordingitis and all! (lol)
Whoever is the 1st to guess what series of films
my recording represents,
will win
the virtual prize!
...at least the Grandkids guessed it. (lol)

ok emily..im thinking the saving private ryan theme..because that part around 1:20 but with your grandkids knowing it im sure its more of a youngster film...but theres a little note run that reminds me of Hymn for the Fallen.
. and your gael was great! love that you actually play it with ornaments. i knew ut would be a while for me to get those right like you did. hated my version but was time to move it along lol... sorry got off blabbing as usual..lol..
THANK YOU for youtube..ohhh so much easier to watch..really appreciate that from a viewer perspective. love the happy feel of your videos!

My recording is from what series of films?
@ABitRusty -
Thanx!
Nope, not it - but this series of 4 films is great for ALL ages.
Afraid if I give the name of production company it might be a dead giveaway!
Btw, I know exactly what you mean about moving on. Way too much music to learn out there!

@ELCBK Nice job! I’m so glad you joined to my party! 🥳🥳
But now I’m a little stuck with guessing that piece. So there are 4 films in this animation serie, right? Let me think a while... Or maybe I’ll ask if my daughter knows, she’s usually pretty good at recognizing these.
