As Per Emily's hint,  Squeaks, warts and all.

Looks and sounds like I need to get off my wallet and buy a decent Mic for recording the Fiddle and maybe a decent camera, tough being a cheap skate any more.

@Mark -

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!

giphy.gif

Your playing is a real joy to listen to!

What a beautiful waltz - I've never heard it before.

Wonderful sound out of that fiddle, Mark!

This is going to be such a GREAT Party!

- you can count on my support!

Looks like I need to do another marathon recording session. 😁

Hmm... which one do I start with? 🤔

- Emily

...sooo impressed - you're playing a regular strung fiddle, left-handed!

I just learned, this past year, that you can't just simply switch the strings around because of the base bar.

@Mark I haven’t heard this one before—it’s beautiful, and you played it really well.  Your fiddle has a sweet sound.

This is supposed to be The Station Master Waltz in G... its close.  'cept for those C#b's that are showing up wink .  Its a modern waltz written by Andre Brunet if you wanna checkout how he meant it to be.

Sorry, I'm running late to the Party!

This is still a work in progress (like everything I do) - probably still need a few different notes and LOTS of ornaments. (lol)

Here's my attempt at "Bergrosa Vals" - using all 5 strings!

Wonderful Party!

giphy.gif

...still a few more waltzes - my favorite!

Well Mark, I promised more - so here ya go!

I haven't played this in quite a while, but it's a pretty common waltz that I hope others will try.

My shot at "Vals fran Boda" (Boda Waltz).

Here's my attempt at "Vals Efter Per Röst" - and still having trouble getting the hang of these ornaments. (lol)

Grab someone at the Party to twirl around the floor!

giphy.gif

...just excuse all my unidentified noises, it's the end of my recording marathon. (lol)

Wow, this is a really cool party! 👍🏻🥳

@SharonC ,your duet was so great! Really nice idea! 👍🏻

@ABitRusty , I like that one a lot, really nice playing!

@ELCBK , you made three videos at once! 😮 I especially like that Vals från Boda, it’s the same that is also known as ”Solingsvalsen”.

I’m joining this party with a piece by one not so famous Finnish composer, Edith Sohlström. This is called ”Elegie”.
