Thanks ,now tell me how you did that, please.
LOL @thegael - hang on - OK - I saw some of your earlier posts relating to being unable to post links and so on - so - I don't know what platform you are using ( mobile can always be awkward, and different 'phones have different ways of doing the same thing - I won't talk about that ( I use mobile on occasion, when necessary, but it's a sheer PITA asfar as I'm concerned)
My primary platforms are laptop running windows, and a Linux based system. Other platforms (Mac etc) have a similar mechanism to the following...
On my PC/laptop/workstation etc, I just open the YT video, go to the address bar, select it and copy ( highlight the entire url in the address bar, and press Ctl-c to copy to the inbuilt clipboard on windows)
Then open the forum page (or just tab round to it in my case - I have it permanently open while my computer is on), and, then - in this specific case - I replied to your post - and just used the"insert link" button on the menu bar on this very page - this one here - (image below) and hit Ctl-v to paste the link - it's probably paste-able with a right mouse-click as well - who knows... !!! )
This probably won't help if you're using a 'phone - LOL - but - I *do* (extremely rare occasions) do post from mobile - it you are on a mobile platform - let me know and I can at least talk you through an Android version of this... best I can offer my friend
EDIT: If you wish to post a video, it is generally preferable to upload it to you tube, and post the link to it here - just like I did above - however, posting "unprocessed raw videos" ( which you can of course do ) directly to the site ( here ) can end up with a HUGE file (and I mean HUGE) - and not everyone has super-fast broadband ( I lived with 512K for years, and some posted to-the-forum videos took over an hour lo load for like 3 minutes of actual video - pointless - YT "sorts it out" and presents different resolution (video resolution, that is, I believe the audio is not touched) to different viewers (it is selectable by the viewer on YT) - but that's an aside.... Message me on the forum if you need to talk about this or need additional help posting stuff...

Yep, did all that with help from bocaholly. I have a android phone and tablet. I was videoing with the tablet, got as far as coping the link , then used the link button on the reply page....it would not load the attachment. I gave up and deleted the yt channel I had and everything. I found I could load it directly to attachments if I had a video that was less than 10 seconds not possible to even show me doing much of anything in 10 seconds. Also having a yt channel was invasive to my privacy and I had it set on "people with links" only. So maybe I will get brave and try a channel again later. Thanks for the help.
Just bow it.

@thegael - EDIT: I posted the above link from my Android phone, then came back here on my laptop just to add this message.... Seems fine, but, yes I hate smartphones with a passion
@bocaholly probably discussed this with you - I read some of the posts, but wasn't aware you hadn't resolved the issue....
Specifically, what I did on the Android 'phone was the following, in blue -
Using Chrome browser
Opened two "tabs" - one on the Fiddlerman forum, the second just a google search - where I did a search for "2Cellos you tube" - and it came up with a number of videos. I selected and started playing the one posted here.
In the address bar (of the now playing Youtube video tab), I touched and held a finger down to get the "Copy, Paste, etc etc " options popup, and selected copy. So far so good.
Tabbed back to the forum page, logged in, opened your post (above) and tapped "Reply" -
Then in the body of the reply text area, I pressed and held a finger down in the text area - and up came the little pop-up - "Copy, Paste, etc etc", and selected paste.
I then just tapped the "Send" or "Submit" button (whatever it's called)
And that was it, came back here to my laptop, saw the post from my mobile, selected Edit, and typed in all the rest you are reading - the YT link was the only thing in this post that came via the smartphone - I just couldn't face typing all this in on the 'phone
Hope that helps... If we need to I can find out what version of the Android OS is being used - but - AFAIK it should all work, I just find it incredibly messy
Haaa - second "EDIT" - this is posting a "link" - it is not an "attachment" - was that maybe where the misunderstanding lay ? Dunno - just a thought ...

I can go to the botom of this reply page and tap "attachment" and load the video from the tablet but it is too large a file and aprox 10 seconds of video is all it will do. TABLET android will copy " link" but will not upload to the reply page.. PHONE Android probably will easily but I do a lot of business on my phone and do not want YT on it for security reasons. I will have to do a fast 10 sec byte and maybe it will load. Oh and I don't use a home pc, just tablet and phone. I noticed on fiddlermans YT channel it says on the community tab, only pc and phone is able to post , so I think the tablet is not going to work for uploading videos. In time maybe it will. Thanks for all the help.
Just bow it.

OMG It worked!!!!! BillyG it was the " hold the finger down on the reply page " that worked . Yayayayah!
