I think most people here might (maybe, kinda sorta?) be familiar with StreetJelly, and have heard whisperings of our past events (FiddleFest and Amateur Hour). If not, feel free to head off and use the advanced search function to read the old topics on Amateur Hour.
So, this is a poll to see who would be interested in doing it again (or for the first time) sometime this fall/winter? Most likely FiddleFest will happen first, but this is to try and gauge the interest in doing an Amateur Hour (because a good bit of work goes into the planning, and then many of us give up a whole day to run it).
It is all about using the event as a recital of sorts, not about doing a perfect show (I have never done one of those, anyway, haha) and about getting the newbies together for a fun event 
So, who wants to do it? Giving 3 answer options, but really hoping for more people interested in playing than just watching for this event

Yes, everyone - and thanks for the reminder Mandy @damfino - let's get involved !
It is fun - period - full stop - end of story 
Although the generic title is "Amateur Hour", the event can run for several hours - remember - we have folks from several different timezones - so in fact it is almost an "all day" event if we get enough participants.
In fact, the other event - FiddleFest - has been known to run for 9 or 10 hours - I recall Barry Nelson and myself did an occasional "fill-in" either in 2014 or 2015 - to keep it running till the next player was scheduled - I guess we had around 14 different participants - let's aim for that again ! [ For me, it finished at 3:30 am - and I was ready to play again in spite of (or because of) the fact I was in caffeine overdose mode by then... (fool) !!! ]
Last year I managed to get Frankie ( the boss at StreetJelly ) to promote the event for us - basically a large banner at the top of the SJ home page - come on folks - time to get your name up in lights !!!!
As Mandy said - not looking for perfection (none of us ever are) or a polished performance or set-list - we're just sharing where we are in our journey, and gives the opportunity not only to play amongst friends and FiddlerMan family, but also to chat about what we perceive as our current problems or limitations - once again - it is all about having fun !
Go on, sign up - nothing to lose - everything to gain !

I will try also. ( I have to find out if my laptop and funky camera still work)
On Saturdays I need to schedule a late performance, which is 3:30 pm California Time.
On Sundays I am flexible, except I can't do anything on 10/21, as I have a grand daughters Birthday party.
Make the dates and I will try to be there or watch.

No worries with that, I'm off work now until the 17th as well, so won't be around as much the next week and a half, or at least I'm not planning to be, haha.

oh PS... I don't have to play... I can watch but on Nov. 17th I have a work function after work... so I can only listen while I get ready for the function... don't make any decisions based on my, because I may have a busy November....
