I just bought a fitted and unfitted bridge and just knew that the unfitted bridge needs to trimmed and be fixed.

However, does the fitted bridge needs the same trimming by using just sandpaper? Or could I just use it right away without touching it? :-)

Thank you so much!

Wow this is really helpful Ripton! Thank you so so much! :-D :-D Hope I could do this too. It's my first time to change this. My older bridge just broke.

Btw why are all the bridge today are the same? like in the picture? germany? I have the same bridge.

But the violin that was given to me had a bridge that is named bausch. Is that out of stock already nowadays? :-)

In reality their are no fitted bridges. We sell them but they can't be fitted since all violins and set-ups differ. You can get away with using a fitted bridge but your instrument will sound better if it is cut properly.
