Almost a year ago... I got this video

feature=youtu.be

My Fiddlerman Concert Violin is about to have been in my possession for a year now.   I did buy a Cecilio electric violin about a month before the Concert violin, but it only started me on my journey, so I don't count it.   About the only thing I've changed on the Concert Violin over the year is the strings.  I like the Zyex I have on it.

The cecilio sits in it's case, and has not been out in months.  When I get in the mood to play on an electric Violin, I bought a Bridge Aquila along with a CodaBow.   The wife refers to the Bridge as the "quiet" violin and the Concert as the "Loud" violin since I usually play the electric with headphones on instead of plugging it into an amp.

Been working on "Sad Violin" (aka Sad Romance) for a while, and finally getting the shift into third position on the E string... so my instructor starting today is getting me to learn to shift on all the strings as part of our warm ups and lessons, along with recommending a book on shifting exercises.  I know I've put well over three hundred hours of practice on my violins over the first year.

So after a year, I still enjoy playing... and am happy with my choice of a Fiddlerman Concert Violin as my first, and so far only, acoustic violin.

taper123 ...Happy Anniversary on that violin.  How exciting to get a Play by Pierre Video and have it still.  Yahoo!!!  Play on my friend.. play on....

Dang.. I think I should have saved my play by Pierre Video..(Ming)   Because Mine was the one that was played from the site... and I picked it and as it got sold then it went away.. I think... Maybe somewhere in the archives here??

Or darn.. I have to go to Florida and get an up close and personal video of Pierre playing my Ming.. oh.. and My Soloist... hum... yep.. I will have to do that...   :) devil-violindevil-violindevil-violindevil-violin

coolpinkone I think you can search through his old youtube videos and find it. I know I've looked back and found my Concert violin on there, but it's been a while, but it doesn't seem like they delete videos from the shop's page.

I think we have deleted some videos but we have been very inconsistent. Anything is possible.
