Hi all. Once again here, uploading my second official video. This is my official 2nd months progress. I actually played two songs this time. The first one is Bach's G Minor Gavotte. I was stuck on this one for about a week..... It's actually the musicmanship and harmony lesson on page 195 of Violins for Dummies, Track 44. It woudve sounded beter if I recorded it after I learned the lesson a few weeks ago instead of using it as a warm up today for my double stops attempt. The second video is Hunting Horn song from page 251 of the book, track 69. I just started learning to play double stops YESTERDAY so yah I know I sound somewhere between nails on a chalkboard and broken bagpipes but please, I assume it only gets better from here.. This was the first lesson after all the reading and playing open string double stops. Heck I tried but as I stated before I only learned this yesterday and wanted to show a raw uncut video of my day 2 of learning double stops. Either way, here it is.

Good job Soldier. Keep at it. I'm right there with you, I've been at it 1 month. I presumed the violin would be a good deal easier to learn to play than it actually is. Like anything else though, patience, perseverance, and practice and a good attitude pays dividends.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. ~Herm Albright
