Hi all,

This is  basically an introduction to a tune, The Musical Priest, in case our members are not familiar with it. It was a playing along with a recording of a live jam. Please pardon my bad playing, lots of mistakes, as I've only been with it for a few hours. Will keep practicing the tune.

Thanks all,

Robert

Lots of notes on that sheet. I really like how you post your sheets along with your audio. I have been spending more time on trying to follow sheets. That has transpired mostly because of this site and players like you > thanks for the post.

Thanks for nice words and encouragement, @Mad_Wed, @StoneDog, and @Ginnysg.

As per some of our members excellent advises/critiques, I was ask to play the tune slowly, something like a ballad instead of a reel, so here is a very rough take, only ran through 2 times before recording.

Thanks all,

Great job ratvn!

I really like that song, and enjoyed hearing you play both versions.

You've also got the embellishments in there nicely done as well!

Thanks for sharing it. smile

Cool! I like it slow!

Robert, You're doing very fast shift from the slow tempo to the fast. The best way i know (for myself) how to play fast is using a metronome. I set it on slow tempo, play as much as i need and then increase the tempo. And slowly in several days i get the faster speed. That process is kinda fun for me =) and maybe could help You...

Thank you very much for your encouragement, @Feathers, appreciated it.

Thanks, @Mad_Wed. Naska, I will give it a try as per your suggestion, but in the past, my metronome did not like me much, lol.

@ratvn Man you sound great when you slow down.  You really can hit those pitches right.

FM, thank you for your encouragement. I need to work harder as there are so many mistakes and so many things need to be improved.

You're absolutely right, Pierre. That is an awesome metronome, look so nice and so friendly to my ears. First time I use it and it's great (pardon my ignorance, lol).

Thanks, Naska, for the recommendation. I love FM metronome, much better than mine.

And you're right, that preset 5 is impressive, turning it a bit fast then it sounded just like my heart when I am about to jump of a plane....... without a parachute, lol.

@RosinedUp: Thank you for you encouragement. I know you like it slow, and I do too but that is for trying to get FM paint brush, so hard, lol.
