Denny suggested to post this in the forum...so here goes;

At some time, when I'm bored, i usually play some random notes, or create some random techniques on the violin, and then, this happened....

at order:

0:00 -dog

0:11 -cat/kitten

0:19 -chick

0:26 -frog

0:34 -cow...sorta

0:39 -fly

Cool! The dog and cat in particular were very good. Made my cat raise her head off my leg and look like "what on earth is going on?!" rofl

nicely done!  I bet you could do a songbird pretty easily as well, given how well you have pulled those few examples off.

@ozmous: you're really amazed me. Truly, I've never imagined a violin could imitate those sounds until I listened to your post. The fly thing sounds so real.

@Ferret, lol, have done that a LOT at the first time I've touched the violin tongue

@chopsy, ya, I've heard some fiddle players does imitate songbirds, I've heard Vivaldi do that on his "four seasons", and also Paganini, as I've heard, can imitate baby noises and various animals, thanks for sharing the vid!
