Hey it’s my 3rd week playing here’s Brahms Lullaby. It’s not great I’ve had better runs but not on cam. There’s one or two scratches and for some reason my bow bounces a little bit randomly. Don’t think it’s tension in my right hand cause it’s pretty loose and I don’t always get it. And one of the slurs are rushed which again isn’t always an issue and I’m working on it...
as always any tips very welcome...

Good work for 3-weeks in @IssacBows, thank you !
Yup, we all experience the "red blinking-light syndrome" when switching camera to record, our off-cam, and practise takes are usually better !!!
Oh, and yes as @ELCBK mentioned - it played as audio only here (which could have been your intention, possibly?)
Anyway - that's a great start to what will be an awesome journey !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -

Nice job, @IssacBows! You are doing quite well! Thank you for sharing this. I rush a lot of sections. The minute I see an 8th note in a piece, I panic. I have been working on it with little tricks. They seem to work in the moment, but the next day...I think you are doing great. Keep at it!
Ye I’ll keep at it glad to know it’s a normal problem...😎 thanks

@IssacBows -Hey, sounds like you're ready to join in on our 2020 Christmas Group Project (when the parts become available)!
You mentioned "on cam" - are we having problems seeing your video?
Glad you're doing so well!
- Emily
Don’t know there shouldn’t be any issues but I put the video in my reply to Billy G just in case maybe that’ll work...

O and if no one minds should I always be using all my fingers when I play a 3rd finger (meaning 1st 2nd and third) or only if I’m going back down after that? And what do y’all think about leaving the sticker on vs taking it off...

It’s an iCloud link instead of uploading it like I did before

@IssacBows - Emily suggested I think about the missing video from your post.
I still couldn't play it (well, I had audio, no video) - but - then I downloaded it. Once downloaded, I discovered this (it's not going to answer the problem though) -
If I play the .mov file using VLC Player - I get a single, still image (well, it very occasionally jumps forward a bit - but the audio is all there.) I tried to play it in Windows Media Player - and I just got the blank screen, but again with audio present.
This is what the VLC Player showed - but as I say, just stayed like that, then eventually, a little jump forward (adio fine all the way through - so it's not as if the player was skipping)
I'll add something else (but it is NOT the problem!) - uploading directly to the form, especially video, eats up a lot of server space - it's more usual to provide a link to it, say on You Tube, or a GoogleDrive/docs, DropBox etc etc.... I understand some folks don't want to necessarily share stuff as fully public - and you can, for instance set the sharing to "unlisted" on You Tube - (and of course on other sharing platforms) then only those who are given the link (or see it in the forum) will find it. But - that's purely an aside - it's not the problem.
I really suspect "something has happened" during the processing or finalising of the video - and that's what you've ended up with. Inspecting the "properties" of the downloaded .mov file "suggests" there is video present....
Not a lot of help, I know....
Perhaps try just a very, very short vid for "test purposes" - doesn't have to be a "performance" take - say a major scale or arpeggio and post here, just to try to home in on the issue? Just a thought....
Cheers !

Perfect..... @IssacBows
Still no idea why it doesn't play here (I mean the original post here, in the forum), or following a download.... weird...
