Hi all,

Here is Buffalo Gals, playing along with an audio recording. It's a lovely tune, and I had so much fun playing along with it. Not very good so we won't "dance by the light of the moon" though, lol, (thanks, @KindaScratchy for introduce the lyrics, as I did not know this one).

Thanks all,

Robert

Do you happen to have a pdf of the sheet music? I've been collecting simple and fun tunes for when I get better. Which I hope is soon. LOL

I don't know what your level is but my thoughts on me playing fiddle are simple... Being a beginner, if a stranger or my hubby can recognize the tune and no one's ears bleed I'm doing fine. Or the dogs don't start howling as part of the chorus. Or the neighbors don't start yelling. Or....

You are well above my standard... Sounded like you had fun.

Hi NewFiddlerGirl,

Thanks for your comment. I have a GIF of the sheet, which I'm attaching to this post and see if you can download it. I actually played by ear for this tune, just following the audio.

My level is just a bit ahead of you, as I got a head start in violin learning and yes, I did have lots of fun, but there were quite a few mistakes also, will correct it with some more practice.

I did a Google search and found quite a few of them, take your pick.

Sounds like a fun song to play Robert.  Thanks for sharing... I think I need to add this one to my ever growing list of songs to work on :-)
