OK, I don’t know about the rest of you but I’m beginning to have trouble keeping track of which video goes with which contest. So, to organize it a bit, here’s a thread specifically for the CVN-500 (February 2012 contest) entries. I think I’ve got them all but if not just link yours here.
For those of you who want to know what’s going on, here’s the info:

The deadline is April 22, 2012 (according to FM in post 4).
Here are the videos, posted under “Share a Video” as of March 16, 2012, which were specified as being for the CVN-500 contest.

I'm just bumping this thread so it won't get overlooked by anyone who's concerned about vanishing videos.
For reference, if the same video was posted on multiple threads to keep it visible, I counted it as a single entry and posted the video once (although I link each thread where it appears).

Sorry I didn't use any fancy video software. I just wanted to give a personal testimonial to fiddlerman.com . Tell me what you guys think.
I like the ad, but you need to consolidate your information into a shorter rendition.
Try writing a short script that will cover the same information in a shorter version.
Leave out the part about how you got screwed on your violin purchase somewhere else.

As Kevin said, it comes from the heart. You put yourself out there and just talked to the people.
Fiddlestix point is valid because users don't like long videos. They might not listen to the whole thing.
It's a little shame that you discovered the competition this late in the game but I appreciate it and there will be other give-aways.

You'r right FM, I don't listen to long videos.
@JausAP, don't get discouraged, you still have 12 days to remake your ad. You don't need any fancy software to do it. Just say it directly, no stumbling on words, I think you did a great job on that. Write it like you would a book summary, short and sweet, try to keep it at one minute. Practice the speech like you practice ?,, the violin ? I hope you do. LOL
