This is before....I am hoping for a much better after audio as I practice like the dickens...

Thank you Kevin.... I have practiced over two hours today. I see progress. I have to stop due to my aching arm.....but I will try to see if I can do 30 minutes tonight. You are right. I have to relax.
I think what frustrates me as a newbie the most is feeling like I do the same thing and get a different sound... I never know when a screech will happen and it frustrates me...I want to correct it right away.. I am finding out it is bowing and pressure...but I want the right combination to sound right every time....
so I bow and bow and keep at it and it is fun and makes me happy!

WoW, CPO! That was good!
Now you just try to play as much as You can. As soon as You won't have to think of "the next note" - it will be much easier to concentrate on other things, like timing.. I know how it's hard to learn something in a short amount of time, so as Kevin said: Practice Practice Practice!

Very nice Cool,
slow it down throw some slides into it.
If you hit two strings at the same , well thats a double stop and eveybody loves a double stop even if its accidentle. This tune lends itself the interpitation. Can be very soleful.
I like to draaaag out long bows and play with the tempos .
Have fun with it!
Most tunes I play rarely turn out like they are written! LOL.
(Just my opinion of course!!)
No matter where you go, there you are!

Fiddlestix..I agree...I think I got it better now...
Thank you SaraO..I am polishing it up now!
Suresh...thank you for tip. I will listen for the ringing sound..
I just practiced for about 20 more minutes....when one keeps playing a song over and over then the upper bow arm does get fatigued.... especially when I am playing and playing and not stopping...Hey I might get those sexy fiddle lady upper arms after all.
My teacher also gave me warm ups to do on D string and A string and they are great for warm up.
I willl have to devote a bit of time to make sure my Mozart Meloday (Twinkle) is up to par.... can't let Mozart down now.... right?
Happy week to you all. Thanks for the support and tips. Toni
