GREAT ideas Barry for the SoCal Jam!!!  These are exactly the kinds of songs that I was suggesting we all learn before we get together.

I love "Will the Circle Be Unbroken", but haven't found the music yet.  And what was the name of the second song you played "[something] Stranger"?  And "Amazing Grace" and "Oh Susanna" are both such great, easy or intricate, songs to improvise with. 

I'm going to refer everyone on the SoCal Jam thread to this thread!

Thanks for your contribution; just wish you were going to be here brother!

I really like the improvisation here, Barry! It reminds me of fiddler music someone might've played next to a campfire on the Oregon trail or during the American Civil War, for some reason. Nice. :)
