I thought everyone would get a kick out of this vid! I was playing my "Jolly Fiddler" at our last Civil War Reenactment while the guys were trying to build a human period! How I managed to play without dying of laughter was beyond me!

We actually had a 6 year old flag bearer that was SUPPOSED to be on top, but he ran off someplace! LOL I knew we shouldn't have given him that sugar packed candy bar! 
I think we're going to try again at the next event! Can't wait to see what happens next! LOL

I actually had to close my eyes at some point in order to keep playing! LOL I didn't know if I was going laugh or cringe! I nearly lost it when the pyramid collapsed to! The second the camera was off, I had to sit down from laughing so hard!

Wait till next month! There were only 3 cannon in that vid! At our next event, we have 5 lined up to fire! I can't wait!
Plus, I've been asked by the parks department if I could be included on the candlelight tour! ......talk about being nervous!! They want me to play 3-5 songs that are "lullaby-like" and are period correct. They want something that would be heard in camp after a hard fought battle to calm the nerves of soldiers. It should be fun! I'm actually going through old Civil War Hymns right now to see what I can play!
