Nicely done, as ever @juanfiddler - great expression.   @Jim Dunleavy - it is the tune "There is no night" - I won't post Máiréad Nesbitt' s cover here because it's not intended as any sort of comparison to Juan's performance, but you'll find it on youtube if you google the title and her name...  It is a lovely tune.

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

@--Jim-- thank you so much, this I learned by ear. Imagine how many times ive listened to it lol. I love the tune very tender, still needs work though.

@Bill Gunn Billy thank you very much, by all means do post your own version on this thread. I'd love to hear you play it. Do not think like we are comparing, this is a comminity of musicians we enrich ourselves by sharing our music!

oh Juan... I hardly know how to express my thoughts on your playing.   It does keep improving.

Yes.. great expression.  Learned it by ear?  oh How I admire that.  Most excellent playing.   Your fingers and arms are pulling out beautiful tones and sounds.  How exciting that must be.

There is no doubt in your passion for beautiful music from the violin.   I am off to play and listen again and again.

Thank you so much.

You're really getting to be a good fiddler. Very nice.

I had to listen again... At my desk working this morning.   :)  Thanks again Juan.

You have Mairead's bow hold :)  or similar..she might hold it higher than you do.

What strings do you play on?   :)

Cool! I especially like how You connect 2 same notes on bow changes almost without noticeable gaps, like at 0:28 and 1:26 XD.
