The other day, my sister and her two-year-old son were coming over for fika (Pierre will know what that is, and for you non-Swedes I can put a definition below ) so I decided to learn Itsy Bitsy Spider for the occasion. It's my nephew's favourite, he does the hand motions and hums along.
So that's my "progress video" for this week: two songs (one in two different keys). Hopefully I've improved a bit since my last vid. I've been working on the things you guys suggested: bowing with my elbow and longer bow strokes, and keeping my left wrist straight(er). It's still far from good, and I also noticed that I tend to lift my fingers about a meter off the fingerboard after use... so that's on the work-list too.
Please comment and give tips. I always listen to what you think!

Thanks, guys! (Especially to Robert who gave me a Skype lesson after talking on the chat!)
And yes, I was quite pleased with myself too for figuring out that transposition. The sheet music I found was obviously written for piano (where C major is always the easiest key because of the complete lack of sharps) and like the piano pupil I am (was), I just went with it at first because I'm too used to that key to question it. Guess I learned better! Violin ≠ piano.
