Just some scenery of Lake Fontana in North Carolina. Spent a few hours motoring around in a rental doing Nothing but taking in views and cooling off in the water. I think we had maybe 3 or 4 other boats in the area and with no development on the shores, Smoky Mountain National Park on one shore and a national forest on the other, it was very peaceful.
I put some of my fiddle playing and guitar as the audio. Its a cover of a tune written by Jay Ungar title and info in description. You have my permission to turn the audio off 🤪😉

Thanks @mouse ! I dont do the tune or area justice. Both are beautiful. One of these days Id like to get up to your neck of the woods I think your New York from previous posts and spend a few days in Adirondack Mountains state park? I believe Ive seen. To be honest theres so many places, lakes, trails, small towns all around Eastern U.S. that are on the list. maybe one day.

@ABitRustyYep, NY. The Adirondacks are very pretty. We don't camp or anything. We used to bring the kids up to Story Town, in Glens Falls, which has lost its charm because it is now the Great Escape. Not so much geared to littler kids.
Old Forge is nice with its 9 (?) Lakes. We used to take the kids to The Enchanted Forest there, also lost its charm as it has become Enchanted Forest Waterfun Village or something like that. The area is nice, though. We took the kids on a boat tour one year. It went through the 9 lakes. Might have been 7 of the 9, I don't think the other two were connected, but listed in the Chain of Lakes. I could be wrong. It may have been called Fulton Chain of Lakes? Not sure. They had a banjo player from the area he told the story of the lakes and played the banjo and sang, It was lovely. It was really nice because it was an evening tour. Nice lighting. I think of that boat tour periodically because it was so nice, peaceful, and beautiful. I doubt that tour is still in operation, or at least the banjo player no longer participates. That was decades ago. I am not fond of boats anymore. I am not sure I would do that now.
We haven't been to either area in many many years. Some of my in-laws have camps up there, I think in the Old Forge area, but not positive.
By the way, I think your playing does do justice to that beautiful scenery.

Ill have to check those out mouse thanks for the info!

Wow, don't know how I missed this, brilliant playing and tune, as well as scenery. I have an 8 track now so I may start putting a few other instruments with the fiddle, see what it sounds like, great stuff. Tunes a new one to me as well.
appreciate it @stringy. YES! do some multitracking... its enjoyable to mess with.
