Well, every now and then I got to look at myself playing the violin.  I keep hoping it will get better!crossedfingers Maybe someday.

Great job Erich.

When you get that metallic sound you are usually bowing too close to the bridge.

Keep up the great work. I hear a lot of improvement.

Thank you all for the kind words. hats_off

I have been playing for some time now and I realize that I dont have a great talent for it, but I started because I love music and love the violin.

I am sure that when most of you have played for as long as me you will be a lot better.

But the important thing is that you have fun doing it.

 And I tell you,  I am having a blast!dancing

The first two years I took some lessons and saw a quick improvement of basic skills. Then I leveld off until I found this site.

It opened up a whole new world of resorses and inspiration!cheers

I wish I had more time to practise because thats when I notice improvement.

Hope to be playing the rest of my life and getting a little better each year.

Thanks Pierre,  your giving a lot of pleasure to a lot of people!thumbs-up

wow, pretty darn good for a lefty... LOLhats_off

I'm impressed with your control of the bow and the dynamic sound differential you can achieve as you play the various runs and such.clap

Certainly worthy of another vid posting in the near future! 1st-place
