Hello fellow fiddlers and music aficionados! Here is my rendition of a song by the composer/dancer/musician Giovanni Battista Lulli, more commonly known as Jean Baptiste Lully. Thanks to RosinedUp and Ratvn for helping me remix the tracks!
Here is a Youtube link if you rather use it:

Very nice.. good Job.. I like that music. Keep up the Fantastic work. Nice to hear something different. May I ask what inspired you to play that song?![]()
Thanks for posting.

Thanks for listening! There was no particular inspiration, this is just one of the first songs I learned on violin and the first that I recorded moderately successfully. Studying Lully's music is kind of my entrance into serious classical music study but now I'm just trying to learn anything. For all the big names there's still a lot of great composers I'm sure I haven't heard of.

Impressive, especially after learning from ratvn about your doing all the parts! That must have been fun to do! Is cello your primary instrument?
Thank you! And yes, it was! Cello isn't really my main weapon, I don't think I have one. I've been playing guitar longer than anything else and that was the first thing I got good at. Now it's moved over for other things. The thing is, I don't really care for cello. I like it and all but bass and bass viol aka viola da gamba seem more suited to me, being tuned in fourths as apposed to cello which is tuned in fifths. Actually when I bought my cello I had plans of getting a bass as well from the same place I got the cello (Amazon.) I found one I liked for 200$ and bookmarked it. When I went to check it a few days later it went up to 700$ Oh well, I guess cello will have to do for now...Curse you Amazon!!!

I liked that. Unique > well done. I have done some mixing in the past with guitar, drums, bass, and other sounds. Not an easy task but lots of fun. I hope to do more in the future with the viddle included. I enjoyed that and hope to hear more from you.ROCKed!!!
Thanks for listening and your kind words! Really I was being somewhat careless when recording, No more of that hahahaaaaaaaa... You guys and gals will DEFINTELY hear more from me.
