Giacomo Puccini's Crisantemi on Swedish TV, SVT2 years ago

Was going through some old videos that were digitalized for us before moving to Florida and came across a few interesting videos that I had forgotten about.

This came from a TV show where the contestants had to guess what was being played and give information about the composer and when the piece was written. The show was called, "Kontrapunkt"

Giacomo Puccini's Crisantemi Quartet

Here is another one done on the same show but just for entertainment not for guessing. Pink Panther arranged by Björn Helander and played on SVT2 for "Kontrapunkt"

Henry Mancini's Pink Panther

Love the Pink Panther!

Didn't know you wore glasses, did you have surgery or do you wear contacts now?

I didn't really need them that much but would wear them while driving and sometimes playing with small distant notesembarassed

Once I started using contacts like 10-15 years ago I never stopped. Put them in when waking up and take them out before hitting the hay sack. I considered doing the surgery but didn't think the guarantee was good enough. My brother did it and has perfect vision. He says it was one of the best decisions he ever took.

I wore contacts for a while, but working construction there is a ton of dust sometimes. Very uncomfortable. I also have to wear safety glasses anyway. I considered the surgery, but I am of the same mind as you. Really leery of someone shooting lasers into my eyes. And what about aging, do they need to be done again and again?

Don't worry MGN, I have plenty of criticism for my own stuff. Especially from back then.

You have a great appearance even back then you did. You always look full of energy and happy with what you are doing.

We thought that that was real fun to do. Eventually we added lot's of that kind of stuff. I'll see if I can find the Smoke on the Water that we did on TV once and post it.

Maybe, but for the past 10 years or so I hear that I look like Mel Gibson. I hear it so often that I dressed up as him for a party and won out of over 100 contestants.

That was a joke. I was wearing my wives reading glasses and making a face. Where did you find that picture. Is that on Facebook?
