Actually, before I started the video, I was very deliberately putting my pinky on the stick. When I started concentrating specifically on bowing two strings, I guess form flew out the window!
My fingers are pretty stiff right now with the stormy weather, and the knuckle on my left middle finger was shattered many years ago, so it is hard for me to hold it bent when I am not using it. I am not the best physical specimen for a violinist, huh?

Actually I am not sure what you would call it. The best description is that it is a smartphone without the phone. I was looking for an mp3 player and found this instead.

Wow...everyone....what a great thread.
I have been Mia from the site ...but i have been practicing... In a rut with getting my brain to learn new stuff and press forward... But I am finally getting that mid section of Over the Rainbow.
