second month! yay!! this is my take on the devil's trill, as always, be ready to contact 911 if your ears gets bloody ...you've been warned..
ok, some specifications:
video editor: i used AVS video editor that has been downloaded as a torrent(pirate...arr) w/c means it's free and whole without watermarks
backing: i have searched and searched for hours, and even tried removing the violin part from a video, without luck, i used MIDI, and a MIDI player(the piano)
this was my second take. my first take was posted on youtube, but not listed, and i didn't used it for i was nervous at that time, and i even forgot to screw tight the bow...
preliminary inspections, the backing is not in synced, the double stops isn't that good, and some notes are not that clear...that's all
cheers!

Yeah Oz, you're a sport for 2 months; not an easy piece. Like FM said, you have a couple of really promising techniques. My only piece of advice would be,,, at being sooooo new to it, you may have a much easier time focusing on your intonation if you stay in 1st position. I may be totally wrong, but that's my opinion.
Good go; keep up the good work!

thanks all!
@FM, ya, i do that kinda process like reading the notes first, then memorise 'em, then practise the intonation, add different styles (trills and vibrato), do everything again until perfection, i mainly do everything by sounds, at this video, specially at the opening, i've got some bad intonation, sorry about that, i was really nervous, i don't really like cameras (no, seriously, my only picture online is the one i'm using, i don't even have a picture on facebook, and i don't really like someone taking pictures of me)...well, hoping to improve.
@Anon, thanks!
@ftufc, thanks, i don't really like first positions, it's what i call "lightly colourful notes" they are colourful to me, even though it will still have the same notes on the 5th position, the higher the position, the darker and richer the "colours" of the notes....just like Vivaldi and Paganini, i don't really like Vivaldi's compositions, they are very colourful, i like the darker themes of Paganini or some other composers.

Speaking of "lightly", last night I tried "Lightly Row" for the first time, a piece that I could have played in the first week, although I am a few months into fiddle now. It was surprisingly enjoyable getting the intonation right. Even a very simple piece can sound good if played accurately. Here is the music:

I also had some fun with this pitch-comparison test:

My scores were a little discouraging at first, but with a little concentration I improved a lot.

Oh, cool, you're a colour synaesthete? Me too, mainly for letters and numbers, but also some sound-related.
BTW, that's some seriously nice editing you've done in that video! And you play really well!!

@RosinedUp, cool!
@Almandine, i didn't know that, lol, that's awesome, i searched "colour synaesthete" and it corrected with "synesthesia", when i hear a song, i don't really see a single note with a colour. i see a whole song with colour... but well, colourful tones are irritating for me. darker tones like grey, brown, or even black are warm and beautiful for me
