Here's my first video. I'm surprised I bowed as straight as I did; probably my best bowing, and I'm usually nervous when being recorded/watched.
The bow tilting I incorporated today. Yesterday in my first practice I was lifting the bow when changing strings.
I messed up before the last measure, but I'm not that disappointed about it. This went much better than I anticipated!
Critiques are welcome, just remember this is my second day of practicing with my violin.

Well, for only your second day of playing, that was great!

Classic beginning video! Absolutely wonderful, nothing wrong with it! Keep it up!
Watch FM video on holding the violin, particularly about the collapsed wrist if you want. Also his Finger flexibility vid and drawing the bow vids.
This isnt criticism since Everyone experiences this when they are new, in fact the more comfortable you are holding, fingering, and bowing together the easier it is to improve. I went through the same thing, so I see it in others. Keep it up, it gets easier and harder the better you get!
