I know that you posted this off the critique thread, but the one thing that I would like to mention, if you don't mind, is that if you can minimize shoulder movement and focus that movement on your elbow instead, it will improve your bowing, and sound, immensely. It will also help your right arm be more relaxed.

@Fiddlerman Your words mean a lot to him, thank you. And thank everyone for the kind words. We have practice today at 3 and will focus more on the elbow. Something I have yet to notice because I have been so focused on his wrist and knuckles the past few weeks. We are also going to start using the metronome I just received this morning.

Looking forward to hearing about that. It's not something that he should use all the time but from time to time.
We'll talk more about that after Thomas practices with a metronome. It's important that he can hear the metronome over his practice too. Impossible to follow a metronome otherwise. He may need to see a flashing light or something.
