January 26? A Saturday and I'm not working. Hmm. Better break out the equipment and see if everything still works . Maybe do a quick practice show to confirm .Thanks Billie for keeping this going .

Sounds like it's going to be a good party 
As I posted before the forum hiccups, I have a matinee concert to go to that day, so I have to leave at 4:45pm-ish my time to get there, but should be back by 8pm my time to watch more shows. So should be a fun day of music! If it snows here, I will forfeit my tickets, because the venue is out in the country = lots of steep hills, twisting roads, and high speeds to deal with. I don't drive those in bad snow, even with 4WD, haha.

Indeedely Doodely Toni ( @coolpinkone ) - indeed it is - paaaarty time once again - sorry I was unable to set up the annual event at the correct time last November - but we seem to be getting just about sufficient interest to keep it going for at least a few hours - well cool !
I'm also SO HAPPY you are playing "later in the day" ( I mean "later" in my time ) - it gives a break - besides it can not be at all easy across timezones - we're not all in the USA and within 3 hours of each other... we have members worldwide... cool - thanks again Toni for jumping in

I HAD a tiny thought that I could set up from my office and sneak in a show to try to get in earlier... but I am thinking that's just not going to work out.

Heyyyy - Toni - trust me on this -
(1) You are scheduled on SJ
(2) It is an all-day / 24 hours to fit world-wide timezones event
(3) That means you can play ANY TIME that suits you - NO NEED to worry about it - play from office ( if it works ) or from home later - NOT an issue - just join in when you can !!!!
(4) And this goes without saying - if there is a "dead zone" somewhere between players - there will ALWAYS BE SOME CRAZY PLAYER HAPPY TO KEEP IT GOING - errr yeahh OK, OK. yeah that would be me and my viola brother @Barry !
Bring it on - gonna be a great day ( still wish we had more players - we're not looking for perfection here - it's like a chautauqua, get-together, sharing, ceilidh - call it what you will - it is probably ALL of these combined.... )

Giving a bump!
Saturday is the day! Who is going to join in? Most of us started playing for the StreetJelly events at around 6 months. It's not about being perfect, it's about the fun! Don't have a half hour of material? No problem! Just stop when you are done, and someone will fill in, or we can use the time to get a snack and a bathroom break.
Best part is, you can be back in your jammies minutes after your show, and enjoy watching everyone else with nice cup of tea (or coffee, or hot coco!). 
You know you want to!!!

Yeah - I just finished recording the item for our facebook "365 days of fiddlers" - I had to get it done early - my slot is due to be posted 4th Feb but gonna be real busy next week. Perfect Planning Prevents Proper Pi55-ups as they say......

I'm going to change my time slot, I think, for Saturday. Too big of a gap between Barry's and my shows. I'm still going to leave a gap so I know I can be ready, but going to move my show up an hour. Going to go take care of that now.

Hello gang....
Just curious if anyone knows if Street Jelly can be broadcast from Iphone or Ipad? I can watch using a photon app... just curious if they have made any changes.
Otherwise I am working on my oOOOOOLD cam and OOOOOOOLD laptop... Which will be okay.

Hi Toni @coolpinkone - I'm not sure - all I know for sure is I can view SJ on my mobile (it's an android phone) - but I've never tried broadcasting....
Suggest you just give it a quick try....

As far as I can tell, you can't broadcast from an iPhone/iPad. I tried looking at the non-mobile site on my phone to try and see if there was a work-around, but that didn't help. They show now broadcasting option when viewing from a mobile device.

Still having broadcast problems on StreetJelly, so I've had to cancel my show for now. It was just going to be 15 minutes to "get my feet wet" so to speak, but it will have to wait for the next one.
