Hello there folks.
I am helping out with my grand children in the afternoon. Always a chance I could play a little tune or two.
I am behind in reading. Is there a song set.. I vaguely recall there being some set of not a challenging songs. Or can we pop in with our usual sets?
Sorry I totally "old lady" brained on this one as far as the details.

Pierre put together some easy arrangements of songs to encourage people to take part, but I don't think there's any rules about what you play.
I've just put together a list of stuff I can play reasonably well. I'm even going to chuck in a couple of tunes on the flute to try to stretch my limited repertoire to fill the time slot.

@coolpinkone No rule on what songs, we're just trying to stick to beginner "first year" stuff, whatever we consider that to be. I have a list of stuff I'm planning to play that will at most take me 10 minutes, lol, so I see myself playing my normal stuff after that unless I can manage to chat A LOT, hahaha.

We have 2:00 reservations for my mother-in-laws 91st birthday, so I'm afraid that I'm going to miss many of the shows. 
But I'll log on as soon as I am able to catch what I can. I'm going to bring headphones with me and try to listen in the car through my phone as we drive home. Good luck everyone and have fun!

I've been having problems with my internet connection for the last few days - it keeps cutting out. Apparently there's a problem at the exchange which they promised to fix by Friday, but it's still happening today.
I'm going for it on SJ, but if I suddenly disappear, you'll know what happened!

Okay, today is the first time I ever HEARD of StreetJelly.com, but I can see it and stream it on my computer. So I'll watch all of you while you pretend to be newbies again! No, I am not going to quickly figure out a video setup and broadcast myself with a bag over my head playing only the open strings!!!

Yes - thank you all for either being in the audience or playing - excellent - and although we have a regular "open day" with the Strings on Sundays event - that doesn't always mean that's the only time we'll go on to StreetJelly. Anyone can schedule a show for any time - so - to at least have the chance of catching one of our members - remember to add them as favourites in your SJ account - them you get mailed (a) when they schedule a show, and (b) when they go live....
