@Fiddlestyx I just realized I was tilting too much..you are right.. it was getting scratchy.. If I recall.. I was bowing super super flat months and months ago.. I got a tip to bow at an angle.. and before you know it .. I have been sideways bowing.. anyway.. I am changing my ways.. and getting good tone now.
Who know what my next week's problem with be with the violin... but you know.. I will figure this thing out.. oh yeah.

"First trick: You no doubt notice that the open strings are a little louder/stronger than fingered notes and they also have a bit more "sting" to their sound. If you put your finger down on the string at the nut..
