Well I went with the fender and dont regret it. It even came with a wooden bow that wasnt supposed to be in there pretty sweet!!!! dancing 

Love how quite/loud it is and completely fun to play but I MUST get an accoustic hopefully before my rental is up

Definitely proud to own one now though WAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOO thumbs-up

Fender, at least judging by their guitars, is a decent enough company.  I doubt you could go much wrong with that choice at that price.
