My teacher told me the same thing about rosin... that around here the light rosin is good for the summer (super humid) and the dark is winter rosin. I never bothered to switch over the winter, though, and noticed she didn't either. I'm not sure what difference it makes, maybe someday I should look that up, lol.

I live where it doesn't matter- it is always humid, just sometimes it makes me cold (even though it's not) I will for sure be looking that up- but keep in mind I still have some left, so this isn't a race.
I was offered some for free (shhhh) maybe nobody knows- I wonder if Holstein will have an amber version.
I practiced for 45 minutes today--- man that thing is heavy !! (but my cat came and took a nap during it), so………..
I swear- someday I will be playing as well as my imagination
