While on Facebook, a Fiddlerman violin popped up in my local marketplace (Albuquerque, NM). The back of the neck back has a black rectangle with white writing that says "Fiddlerman Made in France". I don't know the model (the add did not say). So, did Fiddlerman have violins made in France at one time? When would that have been? What's the history? I'd love to hear the Fiddlerman history.

I was the hoping there was some interesting story about Pierre first finding a violin shop in France that produced violins for him, etc., etc. I didn't even think it might be a fraud. Silly naive me, especially since the sticker looked so out of place. I'm not even looking for a cheap violin, but "violining" is my new passion, so I spend most of my time practicing, reading, learning, googling, etc. I peruse my local FB marketplace just out of curiosity, mainly hoping a great used car will pop up, but violins have started appearing. The fake Fiddlerman caught my attention as a new Fiddlershop customer.
Here's the link to the "Made in France" Fiddlerman violin.
