Hi @Mouse and others. Obviously, I cannot tell if bow material is wood or cf. If cf, please disregard comment. If wood, consider hanging bows from frog end since the grain direction of a bow head makes it very prone to breakage.

Very nice! I wish I could leave mine hanging out. Way too dry here in the winter 🙁 I leave my first fiddle and my outdoor fiddle hanging, but they spend all winter out of tune, and very hard to tune until summer.

Hi @@Mouse and others. I have several instances at the homestead where kitchen and bathroom cabinet knobs can swing into painted Sheetrock walls. I protected the walls from damage by the use of white nylon chair leg end caps. I believe they also make them with felt and carpet caps. They are held using a steel brad. You might consider their use on the wall to protect the violin plates from varnish wear.
