I assume that it starts on measure 13 of violin 4. The rhythym is a 8th note followed by 16th notes. so the first note the 8th, is longer than the 16ths. not much but noticeably. daa diddle diddle diddle then daa diddle diddle diddle etc. So if you consider the capital letters to be a longer note than the lowercase notes your bowing should be Dududud Udududu. Now lets see if I am right. I think I am, thats how I am playing it anyways.

I know I was too fast, I was going off memory and not using the click track. It was faster than what I usually practice, but if I slow it down and play with the track, is that what is should sound like? Or was it too fast to tell if I was hitting the notes?
And also... I can't do Vibrato yet, will that hurt me for the vid?

In this type of music vibrato isn't used.
Ihad to ask. I didn't think any vibrato was used, but you know what they say. If ya don't ask, you'll never KNOW.

Great start Clint :-))))Make sure that you have in mind to use a little more elbow movement when doing the 16th notes to be relaxed in your wrist and not use so much shoulder. You can get pain from doing so.
Ya know. I thought I was doing something wrong, because I do get a bit sore. Thought it was just the Rokkie not in shape thing. Thanks Pierre. I'll work on that.
Anything else you noticed I need to work on. (Besides my weight! That one is obvious, lol)

Just a little FYI... I should have my vid in time for the deadline, but now during crunch time...I have to wait for Ole ROy to get back from the Doc (Luthier) before I can submit my vid. But I'll have it in for ya!! I'm really excited about the new bow, tuned up Violin and a good ole fashioned Hillbilly Fiddle tune done with friends. I don't think I can be any more excited. Good Luck to everyone!!!

I submitted mine, for better or worse. I'm sure that I could have used more practice, but I didn't think that I'd get a whole lot better in just a few days. Can't wait to see everyone else's contributions!
I think your video is going to be awesome! I'm on the edge of my seat with anticipation. Can't wait!

It takes a bit of time to get into, but it's just lovely to watch the kids in the crowd.
If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.
