I'm super proud to announce that I have finished up a new album and it's available for your listening pleasure (hopefully ... haha)! It's titled: My Whiskey's All Gone, which is an original tune I co-wrote with my band mate Greg. Our previous album, Starlight Reel, was done "live stereo" meaning that we just played and it all got recorded in one take. This time we did it multi-tracked which was an entirely different beast, worthwhile, but different than just performing. Often songs had to be broken down into different pieces and recorded in different takes. E.g. rhythm and solos might be done in one take (and all of us in different rooms) and then the main vocal done separately and the vocal harmonies done separately. It was definitely a process that required a different way of playing and could be hard to get in the "groove". But it does mean that you get greater control over each track. Anyway if you have any questions about the process don't hesitate to ask. You can listen to clips here:
Or if you use Spotify you can look us up there. Just type in "The Weavils".

Awesome @fiddlinsteudel - listening now....
And congratulations on the new album !
Haha I wish. But it does seem pretty essential when promoting yourself to have these sorts of things.
