Hey, @bocaholly, I just want to wish you a safe Dorian. It looks like, right now, Boca Raton is more in the target hairs than Pompano Beach, but that place is not out of it completely. Please be safe. You violin and cello can be replaced.

Awwww, shucks, Cid... thanks for thinking of us down here in Florida.

Hopefully the worst of it - in Boca - will be my sore muscles from schlepping heavy objects like BBQ, chairs and big flower pots inside out of the wind :-)

On the up side, I'll have plenty of fiddle and cello practice time... not to mention all of those yummy hurricane supplies that don't need refrigeration!

Let us hope you don’t have to rely just on non-refrigerated items.

Thx for asking, Pete.

Boca is about 20 minutes by car north of Pompano and we just had drizzle and brisk wind (nothing you'd have to batten down for) so we got super lucky here.

We've all seen what happened in parts of the Bahamas, though, so thoughts for them!

As bocaholly said, we got super lucky.
Poor Bahamians though. Great Abaco and the Grand Bahamas got wiped out.
