Issue With Watches. Can it be fixed?
In my profile watches says I have no discussions being watched, but I do. I was going to edit some out, but could not do it there because it said I had no watches.

@Fiddlerman

I have discussions on my watch. Some I want to stop watching. I kept forgetting select to to stop watching when viewing the discussion the last time I viewed them.

If you do NOT remove them by going to your profile, you have to click on “watches” from the forum home screen. Then you have to select each watched discussion one by one and go to that discussion and scroll to the bottom of the screen and select to stop watching. You can only delete all options as a group with this method from the “watches” list, otherwise you have to visit one at a time each discussion you want to stop watching.

The other option is to go to your profile and edit watches. From there we used to be able to check a box beside each discussion you wanted to stop watching and stop watching a group at a time.

This is how it worked when I first joined the group around Nov or Dec 2018. I have noticed the past few months ago til now, you cannot edit watches in your profile. When you go to your profile, select watches, it says you have no discussions being watched. I certainly do have watches. LOL I don’t want to delete them all, so I do not want to do it from the watches option on the forum home page. The only option is to delete all watches there, or go go each discussion one at a time.

Could you put the watches in the profile back to seeing your watches and letting you delete watches by selection? Or, could you fix the “watches” option from the forum home page to have the check boxes next to the watches so we can selectively select watches to discontinue in group selections right from there instead of deleting all watches? We can select all boxes if we want to delete all, or we could select those we want to stop watching.

The profile option no longer shows your watches you have set up, so we can no longer select specific discussions to stop watching from our profiles. This has been like this a few months now.

I am using Apple devices to use the forum, if that helps; iPad and iPhone.

Thank you

Here I go clicking onto the thread thinking it is about horology.

Ditto, and I'll be doing it every time there's a new reply, cos my memory is that bad!

I'm leaving a ticket to Simple Press. This must have happened on the upgrade.
Thanks for that information CID.
By the way, did you test multiple browsers on your Apple devices or just Safari?

I know this is late, @Fiddlerman, but the watches are working again in the profile.
