I hate practicing too,I often find myself rushing through but I know that it is not going to help me in the long run. I often practice in my bedroom. I like to be by myself when I practice.I recently had a bedroom makeover done by referring this blog ( http://www.surplusfurniture.co.....-makeover/) and I find it more relaxing to practice in it now since it is less cramped.

A bedroom makeover sounds great. Congratulations. Keep the fiddle out so that you see it all the time too. That really helps.
