I love languages and etymology. German is one of my lesser known/studied languages and today, I uncovered a wonderful German word for that fine old instrument, the bagpipes.
No, it's not Huffundpuffen - it is "Dudelsack"
Don't know why - it just amuses me.....
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -

I've just taken a spin around Google Translate to find a funnier word for the noble tube-bedecked skin, and the Germans are indeed the winners.

Yeah - the French is quite good as well - "cornemuses" - reminds me that bagpipe tunes are oft considered just "corny old music"
I think my amusement from dudelsack is a kind of thought about just "noodling/doodling around" on an instrument based on a sackful of air....
