Thanks so much for the nice comments and plug, Barry! And thanks for tuning in. But, most of all, thanks for introducing me to StreetJelly. I am hooked now.

I love to watch others perform and, now, perform myself. It's great practice for getting over the performance jitters. Everyone there is so supportive, just like the folks here. I highly recommend it for anyone who'd like to get experience playing for an audience.

I hope we have another Fiddle Fest soon...and it would be great if a bunch of Fiddlerman members participate in JellyPalooza! It's all day, Sunday, August 31st.

When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.

Hmm. Don't know. Maybe. I could. How's that for being definite.

If I do, it will probably be sometime between 8:00 and 9:00 pm Eastern. I could only play for about a half hour last night before my fingers got sore and my voice started to give out.

BTW, I forgot to mention that other Fiddlerman members have started doing shows, too (in addition to the Fiddle Fest that Barry organized). Look through the thumbnails on the wall on the main page and you might see some familiar faces. And, of course, Barry does excellent fiddle and guitar shows.

If you sign up for a SJ account and click on "add to favorites" on a performer's profile, you'll get an e-mail notification when they have scheduled or started a show.

I happened to catch Diane the other day on a song. It was lovely... Just lovely.

I truly enjoy seeing the forum members play. I have been away from my laptop and haven't caught the latest performances. (Barry and Feathers) I hope to get in a groove soon to see more.

I am loving that you all play.
