I had to wait to see what my power bill would be before I decided just what I was going to order from FiddlerShop.com. The bill finally came in today.

It has been a colder than normal winter up here, and last month, the bill was a bit higher than expected, so I had to make sure this month's power bill was covered before I considered buying anything extra.

It turns out that I managed to save a bit more power this last month, so I had a little extra cash to spare. It was not a lot extra, but it was enough for an extra item.

Since I had a few extra bucks, I added a set of Fiddlerman strings to my order of two sets of Teller bridges (one set fitted, and the other set unfitted).

I am looking forward to trying those new strings and bridges.   :)

Oops, make that one set of unfitted Teller bridges, one fitted Teller bridge, and the Fiddlerman strings.

I forgot that I was originally going to order two fitted Teller bridges, and that would have made it a set. Instead, I just ordered one fitted bridge, the set of three unfitted bridges, and the Fiddlerman strings.

That will do though.

Update: Now I see that is probably not a set of unfitted Teller bridges. The product page picture shows three unfitted Teller bridges, but the description seems to indicate that it is just one bridge being sold.

My bad. Should have read the description more closely rather than relying on the product page picture.

You are welcome. I know it was just a small order, but there will be more orders over the next months.

I will do a similar sized order next month. Then I save up for one of your violins. I will probably have to go for the Concert, but am trying for the Artist. Reality may get in the way of the Artist violin though.

I have to put on hold my plans for a Fiddlerman Concert, or Artist, violin. I have had some extra expenses to deal with recently, and to top things off, my rent is going up next month.

I will have to settle for just a Fiddlerman Carbon Fiber bow and Holstein Premium Rosin, for my May FiddlerShop.com budget.

My current set of three violins will hold me for a while yet, anyway. I am, however, looking forward to that new bow. I strongly suspect it will help my playing some, to have a better quality bow.

Congrats on your purchases.  I love when my cheerful Fiddleshop items come.  Well of course the violins, but I have ordered, strings, rosin, violin stand violin holder, and recently a violin wall hanger as I have a new  library and violin room.

I love to get those Ft. Lauderdale packages.

Enjoy!

Actually, the Fidlerman CF bow, and the rosin, will be my third purchase from Fidlershop. My second order was earlier this month, which was a bridge and a couple peg tools. I still have not installed the bride, or the other two I ordered from the first purchase, but plan to do so fairly soon, maybe about the middle of next month.

I have Fiddlerman strings, that was among the items in my first order, but I still have not installed them yet. I may install those strings soon though. Right now, the holdup is that I decided to get new pegs for the violin I want to try the Fiddlerman strings on. There is nothing wrong with the pegs on that violin, but they came as a mismatched set. Someone at Cecilio goofed, or ran out of one style of peg, so grabbed a peg from another box, of a different style. I would rather that all the pegs be of one style, or the other, thank you.   ;)

There are still violin supplies on my "Get List," but it will take time to budget them all in. More than likely, I will be buying more stuff from Fiddlershop before I am ready to finally get one of their violins.   ;)

Indeed MAC. grats on your purchases! Everything I've bought from Fiddlerman has been the very best in quality at more than reasonable prices & you can't go wrong with the customer service there. Heh, it's good to see there are others as hooked on Fiddlerman/Fiddlershop as I am. I've not made as many purchases as some of you, though I tried to anticipate & include as many items in my first purchase bundle as I'd need to last me the next 6mos or so. Plus I'd saved for months to make that initial purchase so I'm back existing on Ramen noodles saving for my future 'Fiddlerman fix', lol.

By the way MAC, believe me when I say I completely understand living on a budget (I'm disabled & live completely on what most people simply pay for rent each month), & while I was doing my 'pre-violin purchase research' I settled on the 'Concert, perhaps the Artist' dilemma just as yourself. But frankly, once I dug deep into the specifics I found moving on up to The Master was well worth the extra budgeting. I mean after all, this is going to be THE violin that defines my joy & skills for the next years of my life. In my humble opinion this wasn't a time to settle for anything less than what I could absolutely squeeze out to afford & I've not been disappointed in doing so.

Just food for thought, I know you'll do what the best is for you & the Fiddlerman gang will help you do just that. They did for me... good luck! :)
