I had to share this! It is my sister's son Jake at his 11th grade solo piano recital! I am enormously proud of him!

You have every right to be very proud of his accomplishments! That was very nice to listen to. What was that music. It is so... emotional. I think your nephew will do well.

@Bob Well, word from my sister is he isn't looking for a musical career, but, I think that much talent and emotion at that early age tells me he "could" do it! He still has time to work out a career! I think he is a computer wiz kid too! The musical talent runs in the family, but he has really stretched himself! Of course it helps that my sis made sure he had the opportunity to study when he wanted too! We were denied that and she made sure he got his lessons. He plays Basoon as well! His sister played Cello for two years then quit stating she wants to work with animals. (That also runs in the blood)!

PS: I do not know the piece, my sis could ask Jake! When I find out I will post it here.

My guess is Sibelius. ;)

Thanks Very Much! He is planning to be a lawyer I guess! He sure does have musical talent though!

i am sure he will continue playing and learning! It will be a good way to unwind from the stresses of lawyer work lol!
