http://mne.psu.edu/lamancusa/t.....tml#contra

This is one page of a site called OLD TIME FIDDLE TUNES which is the best collection and biggest of any I've seen.

I did not find anything in archives but that doesn't mean much as I am running an old WIN 7 which is sick compared to my usual Apple.

If it is a repeat then maybe some new people would like it.  It's that good.

Cheers

@Oliver: Good link. Barry posted that link almost two years ago. Some good ole fashioned tunes there.

Thanks again, Oliver.

As long as somebody is using it.  Great for learning with short, simple tunes in the folk tradition (or as difficult as you dare crank up the metronome!)

Fiddlestix, does your 2 year association mean that you can play most of it :)   Maybe your a man of surprises !!  Too easy?

@Oliver: I'm not quite sure how to take that remark. NO! I can't play most of it, in fact I very seldom use it.

Now play nice

I reckon that all Ken was saying was 'yes you are right, it's been posted before but it's good material.'

That's all 'I' heard'

I have seen the site before myself but had forgotten abut it. It was good to be reminded :)
