I hate to say this, but I went to private message someone. Went to my inbox, composed my message, selected the person I wished to send it to then realised that I was clueless on how to "send" it! There is no send button...preview and attachments, but no send. Return simply started a new paragraph. So, is it something that is to do with the fact that I am on a mobile device that I am not getting the whole picture? Or am I missing something right in front of my nose? It may be that I can't use PMs on a mobile device? Someone please help me out! Keep in mind that my only internet option is an iPhone 6.

It may have something to do with the flash issues you are having. I know you said recently....I think it was you i could be mistaken....that you were having issues with flash not working correctly with the apple phones. I don't have an apple phone so i don't know any more then a guess what could be wrong.

@RockingLR33 Ha ha Yes, you have the right person! It may be the flash, Apple does not allow Flash on its mobile devices (iPhone & iPad). It may also be due to it being mobile, period! Mobile sites on the phone are a whole different animal than the full site you see on a computer! Missing the send button is just one of the stupid things that you see on the mobile versions of a website! Hey, phones don't need send buttons! I sometimes wonder about the brain behind what is included and what is deleted!

@Fiddlerman @BillyG Yes, Yes, Yes!!! Billy you got it right on the nail! How can you send a message when you don't have a send button??? Baffled minds would like to know! It is another one of those Mobile site quandromes that totally send me around the bend! Thanks for the screen shot Billy! That is exactly what I see!! Only difference is my phone is iPhone 6 with IOS 10.2.01 and Safari as a browser.

Yes @Cearbhael and @Fiddlerman - there are other buttons apparently missing from the private messaging option on mobile - on non-mobile ( static ? LOL ) platforms we see
and on mobile we only see the"Attachments" and "Preview" buttons -
Personally, I rarely log-on via mobile unless I really have to - it's just a regular pain in the a55 ( oh - I meant that for ANY browser oriented forum, not specifically our forum here - I'm constantly expanding and dragging the screen, then accidentally tapping 'hot spots' and links and ending up somewhere else.... I just hate it !!!! But that's because I'm just getting old..... )

@BillyG Wow! You know, all this could be solved by a simple "choice" button on the bottom of the screen that says "full site" they created mobile websites because full sites were considered too unwieldy for a small screen! However, if the option is still there to use the full site, it allows people like me the option to do things not possible on mobile sites! Like changing your address or email address on bank sites, etc, or PM on Fiddlerman.com. I don't know if a full site button is an option on this site @Fiddlerman but, if it is, you should see that it is implemented! We little peeps on little screens really do appreciate the option!

Actually, I doubt fiddlerman.com has a mobile version. It's not trivial to set one of those up, and they usually look very different than the regular site, because the designers know they have a lot less screen real estate to work with.
When I got on with my phone (an iPhone 6S), I got the same thing both of you did - only 2 of the 5 buttons showing up. I know the version of Safari running on the phone is crippled - in the regular browser, you can do things like tell it to show the page source. To the best of my knowledge, you can't do that with the phone version.
Either the html server is sensing what kind of browser you're using and suppressing some of those (although I can't think why), or the phone browser is not rendering them. The fact that Bill got the same result on Android argues for it being server side, but I'm nowhere near enough of an HTML guru to tell. I think Fiddlerman's web guy is going to have to tackle this one and figure it out.

@Fiddlerman @BillyG Speak of the devil, I woke up to a mobile version of the site! There is no way to even go to private messaging now! There is a forum menu button but it doesn't open so no telling what is in there. I did manage to find a list of forums, you have to scroll through but not bad. There is a button for lists you posted too but subscribed and watched I fear is in that menu I can't open! There is no full site button either!
PS: I have found all the buttons mentioned above except the private message button! Someone know where to find it? I found everything else on the profile page. Still can't open the forum menu button or whatever you would call it.

Well, now I have a hybrid between the regular site and the mobile site. I am back to having no PM send button. Also @RockingLR33 @Fiddlerman I sent you both test PMs while I was on the mobile site, to see if the messages would fly. I would like to hear from you if you received them or not. It did post to MY inbox which wasn't what I wanted.
PS: OK, now the button to choose a forum is behaving like the full site not the mobile site, a few minutes ago it behaved like the mobile site! I still have no right side links, that normally are on the full site. So, I basically have the full site now with out the links. Hmmm!?! I guess it is a REALLY good thing that I have the page for the chatroll or I would have no access to that as well!
