whew,

I just got back from an amazing trip to Ireland. Sadly i didn't take my violin with me, as i was riding horseback though a lot of the shannon area and figured my violin and my horse wouldn't appreciate it to much :D But man seeing the irish play the violin is really motivating. They have so many up beat and exciting songs! makes one inspired to work even harder on learning to play!!! even their "slow" songs are so beautiful. So has anyone gotten to see the violin in any other places that have inspired you to play more?

Oh very cool.  I would love to see some pictures.  I play mostly Celtic/Irish music so I know what you are talking about.  My instructor is Irish too.

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.

Happy to hear about the inspiration rockinglr33.
I feel like we get to see inspiring international postings regularly on youtube. Possibly hearing them play live is even more so.
