Sheet Music Attached to Quillter’s Template Plastic
Not sure how many of you will find this helpful, but thought I would share for those who will.

I thought I would share what I have started doing with music I am working on. I realize that this would probably not be good for long pieces, but I am not into long pieces right now.

What I have done is cut a bunch of sheets of quilting plastic template sheets. They are 11” wide and maybe 22” to 24” long. I just cut the length direction to 8 3/4”. Then I have 11”x8 3/4” sheets.

I use a tiny piece of tape at the bottom, top and middle of each side of the sheet music to tape it to this plastic. It now has more support on my music stand. It also has support if I want to make a quit note on it. I don’t have to grab a stiff item to put behind it to jot the note.

As I finish a piece I am working on for class, I remove it from the plastic and attach my new piece to it.

I hold it up vertically and make sure the music is standing straight up vertically before taping so it is not cockeyed on the music stand.

Many of you don’t have an issue that would require this, but is makes my life easier.

I also included a picture of the back because it is easier to see what I did.

@Pete_Violin 😂

That is a good idea! I should put a “QUIT”. Note on it! Nah, too much fu , but I really should limit myself sometimes. Somedays, my playing sessions are too long and I pay for it later. No self control here.

I really hate typing on pads or phones. I even hate typing with computers now. I learned to type on the ergonomic tiered typewriter, and was actually very quick and accurate, but I have never been able to adjust to these flat keyboards. At my age, why bother. I should find a way to hook up my old Adler Daisy Wheel electric typewriter that is in the basement to my iPad! LOL How portable would that be?
