Sorry if I sounded like such a bonehead in some of my comments last night I was in a bad mood. I was practicing my e-fiddle through my studio monitors pretty loud last night and my home office/studio is right next to my new neighbors living room and they kept pounding on my wall basically telling me to stop so I did then when I was practicing quiet the constant beep from the shout box got on my nerves.

I don't think you sounded like a bonehead. Maybe a little cranky...blink

Hey, we all have less than perfect days smile It's not like you were making personal attacks, and sometimes that little bit of cranky makes for some thought provoking comments.

Okay MGN, here's what I think ... if you're a bonehead I'll be the first to tell you.

rofl

We all should say what's on our minds, if we get offensive about it someone will tell us.  If we don't say anything, A .. nobody will know how we feel, and B .. we tend to bottle it up and it only gets worse.

That's my psychology lesson for today.

If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

Thanks for the comments you guys I feel much better today ;-) Yep it's always good to express our feelings instead of coming up with superficial comments that go nowhere. jimi-hendrix

About your neighbors,

That is super frustrating. I've been in that situation before and you don't know what to do. I suppose you can't find a house out in the country where you livedunno

We had this old lady that lived under us in a real nice apartment we lived in when I was concert master in Gavle. She would hit the ceiling with a broom stick when our son was pushing himself all over the apartment with a sit on play car in the middle of the day. We knew that we had the law on our side but she wouldn't let up and we couldn't stand it so we moved.

Anyway, I agree that it is better that you get your feelings out and tell us what you think. I turned off the popping sound on the shoutbox and that might be a great idea since we want our members to be able to practice in peace.

Happy that you are feeling better today. smile

Right on FM. I love our apartment it has beautiful views. We're up high on a canyon and have been living here for many years (7). The people next door just don't like music. I put up with their dog barking all day long on their deck when they are not at home but as soon as they come home they complain about me. My life is all about writing music and my nerves are on the edge. I can't work when the people next door complain all the time. I wish for a house in the woods! My brother is telling me that I can just live in his house in Naples, Florida that he hardly ever uses and I think I will move there. My lease is up this Jan. 1st. It's a cabin like house and no people close by.

Where I live people blow off dymamite in their rock quarries and it become the norm.  My roosters crow all day yet I don't hear them. The neighbors cows moo all day but you don't hear them.  When an old woman fell into a ditch and was there for 2 days no one heard her.  The country and solitute has a down side but I'll take the country.

Sounds good to me. We'll definitely be able to jam sometime when you are living in Naples. My daughter is talking about moving to LA with her boyfriend in a few years. There is probably a lot more culture and money in California for a want to be artist such as Joanna. I know that my wife would want to move there too if our daughter ended up there. We have a son too and can't follow them everywhere anyway. Most of my family is here in south Florida.

You must be able to live in a place where you are able to play music and live life.serenade
