@allsjfiddlers ( LOL ) - I've probably said this somewhere before - but I'm only planning 30 mins - so if someone wants to jump in between myself and Dennis, that's great. If NOT - I'll try keep the session going - maybe mess with my violinola for fun... but if there is anyone, either NOW or while online, wants to butt-in after my 30 mins - please don't hold back - just throw some virtual rotten tomatoes at me and I'll walk off-stage !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -

I'm hoping to do half an hour so if someone wants to take a break then come back and jump in after me or add yourself after me, it's 6 pm Alaska time.

Hello all. Have a great fiddlefest.I must say I am have a fit of nerves..
@coolpinkone -
Toni, try not to be nervous. You're among friends, and the other musicians at StreetJelly are very kind and patient.
So just have fun with it!
Happy Fiddlefest!!

@coolpinkone - listen - you'll be fine ! I assume you caught some of my goofy stuff - relax - as @Feathers said - you are among friends.
There is a long time traditional saying for live performances - imagine your audience nekkid - well - a long time back I tried that once and had to walk off-stage in a fit of laughter - the "yips" started just by the thought of it - so much so that I came to believe I had been told that simply in order to sabotage my act..... so DON'T EVER do that, just forget the camera and imagine you're playing in front of a good friend, who knows just where you are in your playing ability - no one - ABSOLUTELY NO ONE - is judging you.
When I'm playing, I generally have the bow well under control - tonight I ended up on top of the bridge - do you know why - actually I was SO relaxed into it I was chatting back to viewers and NOT concentrating.... now there's a thing....
You'll be just fine !

@cdennyb - LOL mate, I was just winging it - and as first on I felt I had to thank in advance everyone that brought this to fruition - Frankie for his SJ site, Barry for getting us "into gear", the performers yet to come, those from the forum who may not be performing but who have given us so much technical advice and knowledge for free, and last but not least, @Fiddlerman himself for the sheer brilliant concept of the FIDDLERMAN.COM site and all the feedback we get - ^5s @all of you.
This was as good, and indeed, BETTER than going to a 2 hour concert with one fiddler/group playing - it ROCKED - well done everyone - I have nothing more to say....
Just AWED BY IT - cool....

Ugh, just went to do a sound check and there is a terrible noise on my computer when I do a test! It sounds kind of like an echo. I restarted and tried again and it's still doing it! It worked perfectly last time I checked.

Ok, plugged in head phones and fixed the problem.
