Anyone else using the Tonic app?
I found it this fall by a coincidence. I was suffering a lack of motivation but using this app got me back on track!
The main idea of the application is to be a meeting place for musicians of all levels around the world and to track your practice time. You can open a virtual practice room and let others come and listen to you, or you can choose a private mode and only track your practice time.
I love listening to other people play, it's always a lot more fun than listening to the radio! 😄There is no video, only audio, so it's not as scary as the actual performance, but it certainly helps with working on stage fright. I'm definitely not ready to make my studio public every time!

@Ilona  This looks like an interesting app—seems like a good way to encourage/get encouragement for daily practice as well as performing.  Thanks for sharing the info! smile

Characterize people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words.

@Ilona -

Hi, Ilona!

I know I've watched some of Ray Chen's tutorials - he's a pretty big advocate for the Tonic app, but I haven't tried it.

So I just took a look at Ray's YT site & he has a video on the Tonic App.
