Thanks @VickieD I thought that was it but it it's nice to get confirmation.

I have a request > I am feeling ok with V1 > Master FM said that if you are gonna play V1 it would be nice if you pick also V2,V3,V4. SOooo after feeling ok with V1 I poked around with the other Vs > I am not a reader but can pick out notes on sheet music.

Has anyone done the others? I can't seem to get a feel on them. Are there any examples of the others > I sort of need to hear it before I can play it. I'm having a bit of a time with what seems to be a A# > just hasn't clicked? > I am not a reader. Just need a small example of what one of those parts actually sounds like.

I haven't really looked too closely at those other parts yet but if I can get a few minutes free tonight, I'll try to post you a video.

@StoneDog - I have placed the individual violin parts as audio (mp3 format) on my web site - http://www.scourie.org.uk

They were created from MIDI files, and are in the correct key and at 108 bpm.  They however, have no "expression" whatsoever - and are just intended as a "guide" to get your ear used to it....

Oh - and if anyone actually wants the MIDI (unlikely) let me know...

Hope that helps

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

My Daughter and I will attempt it this weekend. If for some strange reason, it looks like she is the only one playing, there must be some technical difficulty on your end.

I've invited some of my fiddle friends to join in. Not sure if they will but I hope so.

Let the bow flow.

The deadline is Dec 1. :)
You know that we are well known for delaying them when necessary though. ;)

I'm nearly ready to record, but might have to wait until after the StreetJelly Fiddlefest, as I'm going to practice a lot for that this week. Should still be able to meet the Dec.1st deadline, though. I'll try to be a good Booster and spread the word.

There's probably no better way to get back into my violin post-Afghanistan that to see if I can't get in on this. I'll give it a whirl. Don't keep your hopes up though.

@wookieman - Jesse, welcome back! Missed you around here.

It would be great to have you in this project if it works out for you. At least it's a fairly simple song.

Good to see you!smile
